Job Description

THE DETAILS (WHAT YOU’LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR) 

  • Provide World Class customer service while implementing business solution and resolving technical issues
  • Maintain system stability and maximize uptime for all users.
  • Design, implement, enhance, support and troubleshoot technical solutions.
  • Support and resolution of technical user problems.
  • Implement, maintain and support servers and related applications and technologies (i.e. Exchange, networking, Active Directory, VMware, Backup/Recovery, SAN).
  • Educate / train end users to become self-sufficient on technology.
  • Proactively ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability.
  • Support technology after regular business hours and on weekends as needed.

THE ESSENTIALS (OBLIGATORY REQUIREMENTS)

  • High School Diploma
  • Minimum of 2 years’ relevant work experience
  • Well-rounded working knowledge of various networking, datacenter technologies, hardware, software, peripherals and electronic security. 
  • Previous experience providing positive and productive end user support is required. 

The ideal candidate will have experience with the following:

  • Microsoft Windows operating systems and server applications (AD, Group Policies, Exchange) server, desktop and laptop hardware,
  • Desktop management
  • Server virtualization with VMWare
  • Data Center Technologies: storage, backup/recovery, SAN management, etc.
  • Voice and data communication
  • Cisco networking
  • This position requires strong oral and written communication skills, attention to detail and the ability to work without supervision during and after regular business hours.
